UAB „Viezo“ (UAB „Nanoenergija“) is implementing a project jointly financed by the European Union’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic from the European Regional Development Fund – “Creation and Implementation of Design Solutions and Marketing Innovations at UAB „Viezo“ (UAB „Nanoenergija“) No. 13.1.1-LVPA-K-861-01-0769.”

UAB „Viezo“ (UAB „Nanoenergija“) is a company that operates in the field of electrical equipment production, developing innovative energy extraction devices for the rapidly expanding Internet of Things (IoT) sector. The company is currently investing in the development of new IoT technology for railways, and this project will enable it to create mass-produced products, thereby adding value and increasing the company’s sales.

With the anticipated solution, which is financed for design and marketing development, the company is entering a rapidly growing smart railways market, in which train and wagon owners will invest huge amounts of money in smart monitoring and tracking devices in the coming years. This solution meets their needs and is unique in the market due to the integrated micro-energy generator that supports the autonomous operation of sensors for a long time.

The project aims to acquire innovative product design and implementation services to make the new product attractive and launch its mass production. Later, by investing in marketing innovations for this product, it aims to introduce it not only in Lithuania but also abroad, where railway services are highly developed.

The project budget is EUR 81,321.03, with EUR 60,990.27 allocated for EU financing.

The project implementation period is from January 2022 to December 2022.

The project is being implemented under Priority 13 of the 2014-2020 European Union Investment Fund Action Program, “Promoting Actions to Overcome the Crisis Caused by the COVID-19 Pandemic and Preparing for an Environmentally Friendly, Digital and Sustainable Economic Recovery” Measure No. 13.1.1-LVPA-K-861 “Creative Checks for COVID-19.”

In order to create an innovative technology and a prototype of a vibration generating device, UAB „Viezo“ (UAB „Nanoenergija“) is implementing a project co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund – “Development of power supplies for wireless devices extracting energy from vibrations” No. 01.2.1-LVPA-K-856-02-0045.

UAB „Viezo“ (UAB „Nanoenergija“) is a company operating in the field of electrical equipment manufacturing, developing innovative energy extraction devices for use in the rapidly expanding field of Internet of Things (IoT).

The main goal of the implemented project is to obtain the technology of metallization and polarization of PVDF film with the help of research and experimental development and to create a prototype of a vibration energy generation device and its test batch.

The newly developed product is a vibration energy generation device capable of converting any type of vibration into freely usable electricity. It is a unique technology that will replace the polluting and less efficient lithium batteries and offer potential customers an innovative product that meets their growing energy saving needs at a much lower cost than other vibration-powered devices currently based on electromagnetic induction.

The budget for the project implementation is 327,494.72
The amount of allocated EU funding is EUR 177,743.17
Project implementation period – 2020. April – 2022 September.

The project is implemented in accordance with the Measure No. of Priority 1 of the European Union Funds Investment Operational Program for 2014–2020 “Promotion of Research, Experimental Development and Innovation”. 01.2.1-LVPA-K-856 “Experiment”.
